Entitled mum of seven blames Māori discrimination for her anti-social behaviour

After terrorising an entire street for over a year, serial whinger and self-appointed victim Samantha Tepana has finally been kicked out of her Kāinga Ora home. The mother of seven had racked up more than 45 complaints from neighbours, but instead of showing an ounce of accountability, she cried racism and claimed she was "set up to fail" because the quiet area was supposedly "not for Māori".

What Tepana really means is that she was expected to live peacefully and respectfully among other human beings, and that apparently was too much to ask. She was gifted a taxpayer-funded roof over her head, and in return delivered barking dogs, smashed fences, trespassing, threats, screaming matches, and street parties. The police were called. The council got involved. Kāinga Ora issued notice after notice. Still she kept causing chaos.

And when it all caught up with her, she pulled the race card. Saying that she and her kids are “a loud family” and the quiet area didn’t suit them. As if noise complaints, police callouts, and threats of violence are just part of being Māori. That claim is not only racist, it’s an insult to every Māori family living peacefully and respectfully around the country.

This isn’t about race. This is about someone who couldn’t give a damn about the community she was placed in.

A quick scroll through Tepana’s Facebook shows exactly what sort of environment she chooses. Her profile is a gallery of wannabe gangsters, aggressive hangers-on, pitbulls, and countless photos featuring Cody’s Bourbon and Cola (court case in a can). She surrounds herself with antisocial filth while lecturing everyone else about cultural understanding. She claims she was dumped in a place that wasn’t “for Māori” but seems to enjoy every benefit of the country she keeps blaming. The colonial trappings she despises include free housing, welfare, unlimited internet, and a justice system that gave her chance after chance.

One neighbour was brave enough to give evidence at the tribunal. He spoke of dumped rubbish, trespassing, and property damage. The council’s complaint file stretched 47 pages.

Even the tribunal had had enough. Adjudicator Nicholas Blake made it clear this wasn’t just a case of loud kids or a crowded home. This was a sustained and deliberate attack on the peace and safety of a whole street. The breaches were serious, repeated, and beyond repair.

Kāinga Ora bent over backwards to help her. She was given warnings. She was offered support. In the end, she chose violence, noise, threats, and chaos. The eviction was inevitable and long overdue.

Tepana didn’t fail because she’s Māori. She failed because she’s a selfish, entitled parasite who expected the country to house her and all her kids while she ran riot. The only thing she was “set up” to do was destroy everything around her. She did it with pride. Ka kite!

🔒 Subscriber Exclusive: Why the taxpayer shouldn’t be forced to fund a lifetime of kids, booze, and bludging

This situation is not rare, and it’s not just about Samantha Tepana. This is about a broken system that rewards recklessness and punishes responsibility. We’ve normalised a culture where some women pump out child after child, never work a day in their life, and expect the taxpayer to fund it all…
