I'm officially on holiday!

Just a quick note to say that as of today, I’m officially on holiday for the year!

Before I disappear off-grid for a bit, I want to say a genuine thank you. Whether you’ve been here from the start or jumped on more recently, thanks for reading, sharing, challenging ideas, and being part of what’s turned into a proper movement rather than just another Substack.

I’ll be stepping back for a short while and won’t be actively monitoring comments, messages, or chat. Because of that, I’ve temporarily turned off the ability to like, comment, and restack posts until I’m back. I also won’t be checking DMs or emails while I’m away. Nothing dramatic, just a bit of housekeeping while I unplug.

That said, I’ve still got a number of essays sitting in my drafts that I’ll be publishing over the break, and there may be the odd article that drops here and there. So while I’m off grid, the writing won’t completely stop.

Thanks again for the support, the subscriptions, supporting the Hori McGory series and for backing independent writing that isn’t afraid to poke the bear.
