It is always a comedy of double standards when the mainstream media foams at the mouth over satire - except, of course, when the target is Donald Trump.
Plunket is a useful idiot par excellence. His daily faux outrage against woke and his disparaging "cooker" cheap shots directed towards anybody and everybody outside his tightly held narrative suggests - if he wasn't such an obvious fool - that he could even pass as controlled opposition. If nothing else, his arrogance and prejudices distract from more urgent issues.
He's probably losing sleep over his ol' sparring partner Garner muscling into his media domain and doing it better, not to mention the rants of sidekick Laws gradually aligning more closely with the worldview of those "cookers" at RCR.
I'm still waiting for Plunket to assemble his team of 'experts' to debate Steve Kirsch over the Safe & Effective for the $1M prize money, or was that just another stunt for a few 'likes' from a tragic crywanker trying desperately to be relevant?
I used to listen to The Platform, but once the tantrums, abuse and close-minded dismissal of people with differing opinions, or experiences, especially those affected by the various evils of the Covid reign of terror as 'cookers', then they lost me.
I do occasionally dip my toe in to have a listen to Michael Laws.
Otherwise It's RCR or the Leighton Smith podcast for interviews & substack for articles of analysis, opinion, humour and of course satire.
You've 100% hit the nail on the head. I gave up listening to him years ago when he wouldn't even entertain a discussion about the so called 'safe and effective vaccine', even when bullet proof evidence was staring him in the face. He isn't even worth debating with any more.
He is also an unmitigated fan-boy of Winston Peters, and fawns over him every time he appears and fails to ask the hard questions (Slater is just as guilty of this). But where else can conservative (small C) voters go for news?
Sean has very thin skin, it would seem.
Thank God for old fashioned good humour and satire that we find here.

I must Give Duncan a try, I do see his YT clips or X posts pop up from time to time.
Holy moly he’s a twat - he will do something worthy and then - bang - back in the playpen throwing out his toys…diddums …
Go you!
Amen MK.
