Good riddance to her! Obviously not up to the mayors role - totally out of her depth. Hard to fathom why we don't seem to get a decent standard of candidates running for these positions on council these days? Shame that Angry Andrew got in. I'd predict he won't be much better.
If I were voting in Wellington, Ray Chung would have been my choice. He understands business and how economics work. People of Asian descent often have a strong grasp of money management. Considering the hit pieces the mainstream media ran against him, he did remarkably well. It honestly felt like there was a concerted effort to discredit him.
That's for sure. The hidden powers wanted angry Little in there to further destroy Wellington. Sooner or later Little will probably insist that the govt spend the money to relieve the leaking pipes issue just so that parts of Wellington can still run i,e. wasp nest.
Only a narcissist completely out of touch with public opinion could have believed she'd be elected.
Narcissism is probably the best word to describe her, Aroha. That self-inflated ego definitely didn’t do her any favours this time around.

Yes, Ray would have been a much better choice than Andrew. Unfortunately, people don't do their homework or due diligence when voting.

A very factually true article. Thank you.
Just calling it how I see it, Margaret. Losing the Māori ward would be beyond humiliating for her - it says everything.
