I wondered if there was just a little bit of truth in it.

It may have been satire, but Packer definitely does have the washed out look sometimes, and earlier pix of her show her as a whiter shade of pale. If it is not a spray tan, then she certainly does apply a bronzer of some kind - maybe Thin Lizzy. However a pic of her in shorts does show what-ever application didn't extend to her legs.

If satire, I am not sure it was worth the time given to it. I was one that got sucked in because I would not have put it past Packer. :o)

It was certainly worth my time, it gave me a good chuckle watching it circulate on social media. I will be trying to publish a satirical piece each Saturday.

Beautiful mate. You've outdone yourself this time. YES, we need more critical thinkers, and yes, we need more satire education. I tell you what- you're in prime position to give us the best lesson yet. NZ needs more of this. Anyone who reads CJHopkins understands the importance of satire to poke the bear from time to time. It's even funnier with your NZ lens. Glad you're planning to make it regular, a very timely tool to make us laugh at ourselves .... again. 😅👏

With a population whose mental faculties are under constant assault, I'm surprised that you're surprised, Matua. Besides, only Nazis, bigots & haters resort to satire, doncha know?! [SATIRE ALERT!].

We're firmly in the era of mass mental illness & cognitive decline. For starters, that safe & effective LNP has crossed the blood-brain barrier & reverse-transcribed its dirty payload into the host genome... so-called 'brain fog' is just the tip of the iceberg. [NOT SATIRE].

We're up to our eyeballs in toxins masquerading as food, as medicine, as oral & personal care & cleaning products, we live under a toxic sky & purify the air we breathe with more toxins. [NOT SATIRE].

We're marinating in ever more electro magnetic radiation because apparently we need the bandwidth to enhance our 'user experience' with, well, 24/7 porn, 'virtual' everything & pressing 'start' on the fucking washing machine from the comfort of our pod, or some such shit. [SATIRE ALERT!]

And you're still expecting people to discern satire? Think about it...

Bravo Sir! Who was it who said Satire is like a mirror, wherein beholders do generally discover everybody's face but their own? More please!

True, it was satire, it's also true that she gets spray tanned, and dyes her hair from light to dark. Not of which is bad in and of itself. She does it to appropriate cultural heritage. That's bad.

Oh, I feel embarrassed, because I believed it too and spoke to some of my friends about it and now I’m really feeling uncomfortable. I didn’t think you’d do a fake news thing, oh, satire, right, it’s satire, okay, might be better if you put that at the top of your story next time.

It's not satire if you have to explain it.
