That was embarrassing. I’m honestly feeling a bit of Māori fatigue today, I watched the entire spectacle in Parliament and then started writing about it afterward. I’ve poured myself a rum, and I think I’ll be taking a few days off from writing about anything to do with Māori or their racist party.
While the bad behaviour of TPM is appalling it does not annoy and trouble me as much as the apathetic response of the Speaker of the House, Gerry Brownlee, does. He holds this country's 3rd highest position after the Governor-General and the Prime Minister. One of his fundamental roles is to maintain law and order in the House. I have though seen enough videos before this one posted today which prove his emotional dysregulation once a TPM member hijacks the proceedings in the House, and then show their disrespect for its rules.
Given that Brownlee is man with a huge bodily structure he cut a sad and sorry figure. After watching and listening to Oriini Kaipara singing for 49 seconds, and only then standing up and saying "no, not this", he demonstrated just how incapable and ineffectual he is in controlling racist, woke, Maori intent on making a mockery of Parliament and holding our democracy in contempt. Mostly though he failed this repeated challenge to his authority by saying he was suspending Parliament and walking out after allowing the circus to continue their act for a full 1.29 minutes.
Before censuring TPM again, Gerry Brownlee needs to be replaced by someone who anticipates trouble from their members, who prepares for that happening, who reacts and responds immediately, and who doesn't run away with their tail between their legs.
I agree wholeheartedly. But what I don't understand is who is voting for these clowns? Is it people who see this kind of behaviour and think it's perfectly acceptable? Or people who aren't even aware of it? Either way, it's worrying that they even have any support...
The young and the indoctrinated. As a party, they only got 3% of the vote in the last election - yet they say they speak for all maori. More like a tuis comment.
Unfortunately we have all been paying for those grifters to go against our democratic society. Not only have we been paying them, we have also funded their legal fees to challenge our core principals. They are scum.
This is pushing towards a knee jerk response that is going to go too far…people are totally over this!
I had a major surgery Postphoned today due to there being no beds in the surgical wards- they are full of medical patients- the vast majority Maori…why aren’t these idiots actually doing something for their people….?
That and a steady diet KFC smokes and vapes and gang disputes.
It’s very sad to witness
But today I’m just experiencing the result of years of misspending on DEI and admin a stupid move by the last regime to centralise health - wasted funds - gazzilions spent on covid era lunacy (damn advertising yellow and white stickers still everywhere nurses still excluded etc etc etc)
It’s broken and dangerously so…people are without a doubt dying due to this ineptitude
Except that if he's got half a chance to gain power in the next election by going in with TPM, he'll be in there faster than a bearded tranny in a women's change room.
Rawiri said in an interview a couple of years back that he saw himself as being a pebble in the shoe of parliament. He was wanted to be a disruptor , to change how things are done . That was his ethos, I believe they all feel like that . Not part of government but just there to disrupt the order of things . Heartily sick of it all .
Whāk that indeed. On so many levels.

Totally understand a rum being required after watching all of that. Thanks for sticking it out so I didn’t have to!
Just watching One News (yeah I know, why do I bother?!) and not a word on the latest Haka outburst.
Might need a rum myself now 😁
Well doesn't that just encapsulate the bias in our MSM !
Loved how they forgot to show the latest disrespect what an absolute bunch of wankas.

Brownlee lost it right from the start over the lack of application of any dress code. He is now incapable of reining it back.
I couldn't agree more.

Agree wholeheartedly. Dress code was broken, they got away with that, then moved on to worse behaviours. He is a useless Speaker and must go!

It’s beyond beyond…
Probably because a certain ethnic group dont go to appts until it becomes a matter of life or death and then an ambulance brings them in

I’m not one - but I still can’t return to work…
First time I've agreed with Hipkins.

A broken clock is correct a couple of times a day.
They are utterly one big dangerous cringefest that achieve nothing for Maori Zilch...and she is on the pipe no doubt about it
Thanks Matua. We’re glad you watched so we didn’t have to….we will “let that one pass to the keeper” as the Aussies used to say.
te pati money, cuz they sure as hell arent there or care about maori.
Stone age low class trash.
