They’ll do anything to lock him up

Tommy Robinson arrested again

Any time Tommy Robinson is involved in anything, the establishment rushes to paint him as the villain, no matter the context, no matter the facts.

This week, Robinson was arrested at Luton Airport over an alleged assault. But according to reports, including one from The Guardian, the so-called “incident” may have been him simply defending himself. Still, that has not stopped authorities from swooping in.

The Metropolitan Police said they were called to a report of a fight and arrested a man on suspicion of assault and a racially aggravated public order offence. He was taken to a central London police station and later bailed. Unsurprisingly, he was named almost immediately, something many other suspects are protected from.

Robinson has long been a thorn in the side of Britain’s liberal class. Every time he steps out of line, or even appears to, he is hit with legal action, bans, smears or arrests. From gag orders to court convictions, the full force of the state has been used against him.

He has been demonised for speaking out about grooming gangs, Islamism, and mass immigration, issues many others are too afraid to touch. Now, despite early reports suggesting he may have simply defended himself in a confrontation, the media and police treat it as yet another chance to put him behind bars.

The irony is that the left cheers on actual violent criminals in the name of “rehabilitation” while demanding the harshest penalties possible for someone who challenges their worldview.

Make no mistake, this is not about justice. It is about silencing a political opponent.
