OMG, I had only heard of her antics not seen them. But holding the bottle and swaying around......Also going off the booze (presume she goes to AA) to and coming clean does not authomatically wipe the old slate clean of less than stellar behaviour or draw a curtain over it. AA recommends a reflection and recompense (apologies) if this is appropriate. I would have thought a reflection would have involved am I going to be an asset to Wellington or am I/my actions going to be a distraction? I am keen to find out who sponsored her nomination as a Mayoral Candidate back then.

Agree - just not acceptable for someone in Public Office to behave this way. However, as you point out, lack of personal accountability for people in Office seems to be rare these days - both in local government and nationally.

As a private citizen, she is entitled to behave as she should choose, within the law. But as the Mayor of our Capital City? I suspect it reflects her character.

Is this the image that we want portrayed?
